Owner and Founder
Jillian established The Nanny Hub in 2017. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Early Childhood Education from Wheelock College. Her journey began as a certified teacher in both preschool and kindergarten classrooms from Boston to South Shore, Massachusetts. As her career developed it ultimately lead her to discover her passion for professional nanny work. With over 20 years of industry experience, Jillian brings a wealth of expertise to the recruitment and matching process. Jillian is committed to serving the local community. The Nanny Hub operating exclusively in Massachusetts to provide attentive support and guidance.
When she’s not personally matchmaking for families, Jillian spends her free time creating memories with her family and friends. She believes in the importance of the mind-body connection, and works diligently to prioritize both. She also holds a certification as a Reiki Practitioner and a Certified Children’s Yoga Teacher. Jillian’s other hobbies include hiking Blue Hills, exploring new restaurants in Boston, indulging in non-fiction books, and practicing yoga.
Karen Kurtigian
Head of Newborn Care and Doula Resources
Karen is an experienced postpartum doula and newborn care specialist. She has dedicated herself to supporting families since 2012. Karen specializes in daytime family support, Doula care, overnight newborn care, and pediatric sleep training. As a mom of four little ones, it is safe to say that she knows just about all there is to know about birth and babies. Also as a trusted fixture in the local birth and parenting community, she brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her role.
